The Volvo Connect Trucks app, an extension of Volvo Connect by Volvo Trucks, provides significant insights into fleet performance and productivity.

This app is designed for both drivers and office staff, offering an efficient overview of crucial information.

For drivers, the app facilitates improved fuel efficiency, effective management of driving and resting times, and enhances communication with colleagues. Office personnel or fleet managers can remain consistently updated on the operational status of their trucks.

To access the Volvo Connect Trucks app, users must be registered in Volvo Connect as either a Driver or a Fleet user. Initiation requires contacting a local Volvo Trucks dealer.

Available features for drivers include:

 <li>Fuel Efficiency: Monitor your fuel efficiency score along with other critical fuel-related metrics, including comparisons with colleagues. This feature requires the Fuel & Environment service on your vehicle.</li>
 <li>Driver Activity: Assists in planning driving time in accordance with EU driver time regulations, including a historical overview of driving time. This feature necessitates the Driver Times service on your vehicle.</li>
 <li>Fleet Communication: Enables drivers to maintain contact with colleagues and reach the transport office easily when needed.</li>
</ul>

Features available for fleet users comprise:

<ul>
 <li>Positioning: Access real-time positioning and details about all vehicles on a map, including points of interest and traffic updates. This feature requires the Positioning service on your vehicles.</li>
 <li>Driver Times: View remaining driving time for each driver on a map. The Driver Times service is required for this feature.</li>
 <li>Fuel Efficiency: Evaluate fuel performance across the fleet as well as individual vehicles and drivers. This feature also requires the Fuel & Environment service.</li>
 <li>Fleet Communication: A chat service allowing seamless communication among fleet colleagues, facilitating discussion among multiple participants with notifications for new messages.</li>
